About Aashish Anand

Dr. Anand joined the Texas Stroke Institute in July 2016 after completing a fellowship in Neurotrauma and Neurocritical Care at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, Baltimore. He completed a residency in Neurology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he developed clinical and research interest in vascular neurology and stroke.

He currently has a staff appointment in Neurology and Stroke Medicine at the Texas Stroke Institute and is pursuing an advanced fellowship in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology. His clinical interests include endovascular and critical care management of acute strokes and brain bleeds.

Dr. Anand has published more than 20 peer-reviewed original articles and has presented in numerous national and international scientific conferences. He is a member of several scientific societies including American Heart Association, Neurocritical Care Society, American Academy of Neurology, and Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology.
