Outpatient Stroke & Interventional Neurology Clinic
Patients who need evaluation for causes of brain-attacks and those who might require minimally invasive catheter-based treatments need to be evaluated pre-procedure at the Stroke and Interventional Neurology clinic. In addition, the Stroke Prevention Clinic improves the transition of inpatient to outpatient care for patients with brain-attacks. It allows access to a stroke specialist to follow-up on outstanding laboratory tests, monitor response to therapy, and ensure that an optimal stroke prevention regimen is in place.

The Texas Stroke Institute is a collaborative initiative that includes eleven North Texas HCA hospitals. Our goal is to develop an effective and resource-efficient plan to reduce the morbidity, mortality and economic burden of stroke in the region. Incorporating medical education and participating in research will establish us as a National Center of Excellence in Stroke.
