Mission
The Texas Stroke Institute is dedicated to the compassionate, multi-disciplinary and quality care for patients who suffer stroke and disorders of the head, neck, brain and spine. We offer patients cutting-edge treatment options for neurovascular disorders, including minimally invasive catheter-based therapies for adults and children. We encourage academic and research excellence, community awareness and prevention education.
Vision
The Texas Stroke Institute is committed to providing high quality primary and comprehensive stroke care to improve treatment rates as well outcomes for patients who suffer from brain attacks. We will become the first system in the north Texas region to offer multi-facility, comprehensive stroke care.
The Texas Stroke Institute is a collaborative initiative that includes eleven North Texas HCA hospitals. Our goal is to develop an effective and resource-efficient plan to reduce the morbidity, mortality and economic burden of stroke in the region. Incorporating medical education and participating in research will establish us as a National Center of Excellence in Stroke.
